1.
You are thoughtful and aware of others- you
don’t need to be the loudest in the room to feel important and easily recognize
when someone else needs to be
2.
You are solid.
You understand who and whose you are.
Your awareness of that has always given you the inner confidence to lead
out in quiet ways and makes people feel safe around you.
3.
You are dependable. I always know I can count on you. The Lord
knows he can count on you.
4.
You are a blessing of a friend and it’s so neat
to see the kind of lasting influence your friendships have (Macy, Liv)
5.
Everyone loves you because of who you genuinely
are.
6.
You have so much tenderness about you and always
have, even when you were a baby
7.
You are a wonderful big and little sister and
each of your siblings feel like they are so so close you. You validate each of
them in unique, special, and needed ways that make them feel so connected to
you.
8.
You know how to work and do hard things and you
aren’t afraid or slow to dig in when needed.
I am amazed at what you’ve tackled in these months since your mission….
I saw it before in piano recitals, and basketball games- but I see how brave
you are now, how you have faced every challenge and launched in so many ways
that have stretched you and it’s pretty neat.
You haven’t made excuses or rationalized or complained- you show up and
give it your best and look for the good
and the hopeful in what challenges you.

Your faith!
I am in constant awe of it—how you nurture it and how it literally sustains
you esp. in this time as a missionary. That will continue the rest of your life
and be a blessing to you

focus on things and can dive and immerse yourself in them.

You are so smart- that’s one of the reasons why
whatever career path you choose, I know you’ll excel, because you are just
blessed with the ability to apply yourself and learn readily and quickly.

I like how you have favorites—like vanilla,
banana, cinnamon, shortbread… it’s so endearing

You have been blessed with an abundance of grace
that shines through in every aspect of who you are—you don’t have to try to
have it, or work to have it—it’s just who you are, which is so neat--- it
allows you to be feminine naturally, and kind genuinely and Christlike jn all
that you do-

Wow- that just made me burst into tears. I feel so humbled and so So
blessed Emma—you are exactly what our family needed, what I needed and we each
love you and are so thankful for how you love us and claim us. You represent our family In the highest and
best way we could ever hope for and we are proud of you!
