♥ from Sorella Miller week 34 (4-26-21)

 Aloha

Sister Lamprey and I are staying busy and love our Manoa ward! We are still meeting with May and Gaylyn and they are the cutest aunties ever- I love them so much! May is coming to church next sunday ( hopefully) and we are excited to sit by her ♡

Random but I tried out a new banana bread recipe this week that my mom sent me and I am in heaven! I don't think I could love bananas any more than I do! So good ! 🍌💛

We are working on meeting everyone in our ward and that has been kinda fun! We met a man named George - he takes a lot of pride in his yard and gave us a tour, it was super cute of him. We visited a family that just got a little teacup poodle and it is adorable! & I met a man who wears size 16 in shoes??! Crazy!

I was able to play the piano at a memorial service this week! I have actually had quite a few opportunities to play for baptisms and things and it has been a blessing! I miss sitting down to play. ( thank you sister winter ♡ everytime I play it makes me so grateful for you! )  Sister Mataele gave me some sheet music for Aloha oē and I was able to learn it and play it on Saturday!

A friend sent me a talk this week, and there was a line in it that really stood out to me:

"Life is not meant
to be enjoyed in
R E T R O S P E C T "

I love that! Such a good reminder! Sometimes I find myself thinking, " when _____ is over, then I will be happy" or " when _____ happens, it will be fun" but I waste so much in the waiting! I want to be better at being in the NOW and loving the little things.

I love Hawaii. I love my mission. I love being a missionary. I love all of you.

Amore,
Sorella Miller
