Missionary Testimony at the beginning of the Journey

 My Testimony 

I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior. I know that He atoned for my sins and that through Him all things are possible. I have had countless experiences in my life that have reassured me of these truths- one of which is becoming a missionary. Through Jesus Christ’s atonement, I am able to do all things, no matter how inadequate or incapable I feel, I know that I can turn to him and that He will be there beside me every step of the way. I am so grateful for Him.

I know that Joseph Smith is a true prophet of God, and was an instrument in God’s hands to restore the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the Earth today. I know that Joseph Smith translated the Book of Mormon and restored the Priesthood. I know that because God loves us and wants us to have direction in this life, He has given us latter-day prophets. I know that Russel M. Nelson is the true prophet of God today. 

I have a strong testimony in the Book of Mormon because it has blessed my life in so many ways. I know that it is Another Testament of Jesus Christ, and that it was intended for our day. Everytime I read from it, I get new insight and guidance. It has been a constant source of hope and joy and comfort throughout my life. 

I know that through the Atonement, families can be together forever, and for that I am so grateful. I love my family and being able to be with them forever is one of my favorite parts about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. 

I know that God loves us and knows us individually and perfectly. I have felt of His love and am constantly amazed at the grace that He extends to His children. I know that He wants us all to return home to Him and that is why He allowed His only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to die for us. I am so grateful to know the true divinity of God and to know that He will always be there for me. 

Lastly, I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is God’s restored church. The gospel has blessed my life and brought me so much happiness & I can’t wait to share that with others. I love my Savior and my Heavenly Parents. My heart is so full to have a knowledge of these truths and my faith is constantly strengthened through this gospel. I’m so grateful to be His missionary.
