Aloha!
Keeping it real, this week has been kinda tough, change isn’t easy, but there has been SO much good!
Saying goodbye to sister Peterson at the airport was so hard, she was such a blessing to me, especially at the beginning of my mission, we keep in touch and I can't wait to see her when I get home ♡
I got my new companion; sister Hart and she is the sweetest.
She is so kind, has an amazing voice, and loves to bake (which is the actual
best haha 😋) I'm so pumped for this next transfer with her in Kaneohe
!!
We spent lots of time with Auntie Renee this week. She is the spunkiest, most fun, hilarious lady I have ever met. She loves the missionaries and is a great example of service and love. We had to take a picture on Sunday because we were matching ♡ I love her so much
We taught a bunch of members and nonmember lessons. I am so grateful out of all the places I could have been reassigned, I got called to the Hawaii Honolulu mission, in the Kaneohe Zone, & specifically in the Olomana & YSA branch...it all feels too perfect to be coincidence. The people I have met and the experiences I have had in this part of the Lord's vineyard are some of the best experiences of my life. I PROMISE that God is in control. If I had had it my way & gone straight to Italy, I would have missed out on meeting all these people, all these companions, and the things that I need to learn in the Hawaiian islands. TRUST HIM!! I can't stress it enough. I promise He knows, I promise He cares, He's got this !!
Did you all get to watch President Nelson's message this last Friday?? It was EXCELLENT and exactly what I needed to hear. If you haven't yet, I definitely recommend it.
Lastly, I hope you all have an amazing Thanksgiving!! We have so much to be grateful for, I read a quote this week that said, "gratitude makes what you have, ENOUGH" & it is so true!
I love you all and am SO THANKFUL for each of you, thank you for everything ♡♡♡
Amore,
Sorella Miller
