Ciao!
I'm half-way done with the MTC !! I can't believe it, time flies!! We have been working really hard as a district, and it has been fun to learn and grow together. Every week we are gaining tons of new Italian vocab and language skills- it is crazy, and the gift of tongues is SO REAL! I love quote: "A mission is not an event of learning a language, it is a journey of loving a people"- My heart is so full when I think of the people in Hawaii that I'll get to know and love and then in Italy. I have felt God's love so abundantly in my life, and I can't wait to share that with His children around the world. I know that God knows me individually and that He knows me perfectly, I have felt it during the short time I've been a missionary and throughout my life. In my personal study one morning I read the scripture in Jacob 4:7 that reads, " Nevertheless, the Lord God showeth us our weakness that we may know that it is by his grace and his great condescension unto the children of men, that we have power to do these things." His grace is sufficient for all of us- even when we don't feel adequate or capable, KEEP GOING! Our Heavenly Father knows, and He cares ♥
I got to go golfing with my Dad and Miles for P-day. I got to be the "driver" (which I would argue is one of the best parts of golf haha :) because I haven't got my stitches out- but it was a blast! Trying to take advantage of time with my family- which is why this week’s picture is me and my littlest companion, Lainey. Love her! Life as a missionary makes for slow days, & fast weeks for sure.
I hope you all have an amazing week!
Amore,
Sorella Miller
