Aloha!
The highlight of the week was hands down our trip to Laie to be with one of my companions as she came out of the temple. Holy Cow! The Laie Hawaii Temple is breathtaking and I’m so grateful we had a reason to go see it, just to be on the temple grounds was awesome.
Our bug problems have dramatically decreased- we had someone come out and spray so now we are finding dead critters everywhere- but better dead than alive, yeah?
Sister Hart and I tried to do a “secret Santa” drop off to a family, but it ended up a complete failure! We thought we were really sneaky until we got the porch with the gifts and realized someone was sitting out there. Haha. They laughed at us and we sprinted back to the car- oh well, it’s the thought that counts.
Saturday marked two whole months in Hawaii. I love this beautiful island and the amazing people that I am able to serve, and the awesome missionaries and members too- I feel so blessed
I am thinking about you all, especially with Christmas right around the corner. Thank you for the Christmas cards- I love seeing your sweet families and they make my day. I hope you have the best Christmas- I can promise that if you make Jesus Christ the center and focus on the many blessings that His birth provides- you’ll have an unforgettable Christmas, no matter the circumstance. It truly is the most wonderful time of the year.
Mele Kalikimaka me ka makahiki hou hau’ oli ♥ buon natale e un felice anno novo ♥ Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Amore,
