Aloha & Happy New Year!

Fuori il vecchio e dentro il nuovo! 2021 is upon us! Can you believe it? I hope you all made some goals and are still going strong (4 days and counting haha) if you're like me, the term " New Year’s Resolutions" causes a lot of stress. It adds so much pressure and let's face it, come mid-February and they are out the window anyway. That being said, a life without goals is a life with little progress and little purpose. While I was thinking about this, I thought a lot about repentance. We are human; falling short is inevitable. We simply can’t be perfect at everything we set out to do. But Jesus Christ provides "new years" for us whenever we are willing to repent and be better. We can have the fresh slate, clean start, and desire to improve any day of the year if we are humble enough to turn to Him! So that is one of my goals- daily repentance; becoming a little bit better every day with His help.

This week was a rollercoaster of ups and downs. We got to teach the first discussion to two of our friends this week! That was a miracle for us! We had  some success with inviting people to sacrament meeting & are really blessed to be staying busy with the work!

New year's Eve on Hawaii was UNREAL! I have never experienced fireworks like that! They were constant and crazy all night long, it was SO fun! One of our investigators brought us Hawaiian food so I got to add to my list of new things: lau lau, Kalua Pig, chicken long rice, & more sushi! Yum!

Love and miss you guys! Keep being amazing & remember that God loves YOU individually and perfectly!!

Amore,

Sorella Miller
