What a week!
Sweet Gaylyn got baptized on Sunday !! She is the cutest little auntie ♡ every time we taught her I was reminded of the scripture in Mosiah, "... becometh as a child, submissive, meek, humble, patient, full of love..." she has such a light about her and truly treats people the way the Savior would. It was a miracle to watch her make these next important steps back home. I love her with my whole heart! And that made saying goodbye that much harder because...
We got transfer news Saturday night! I am headed to MAUI in the Pukalani Ward !! My new companion, sister Wilson, and I, will be whitewashing! It was completely unexpected on my end but somehow it still feels right; and I am still wrapping my head around it but I am wayyy excited! I fly out Tuesday! ( trying to fit everything I have accumulated in the past 8 months into 2 suitcases was a nightmare haha! & made me really miss my dad, who has always been there to make everything fit, even when I way overpack ♡)
Looking back, my whole mission so far has felt like back to back experiences where my Heavenly Father is trying to teach me that He is in control & I am learning to fully trust that. I know that He has a divine plan for each of us even when it is completely opposite of the plan we made for ourselves! Heavenly Father ALWAYS knows best and wants only the best for His children because of how much He loves us ♡♡
