Aloha! (I'm not ready to let that go haha)
I finally made it to Italy! It was quite the adventure getting here, but I'm so grateful it all went smoothly. It was surreal landing in Milan- I have been waiting to come here for so long!
Italy is gorgeous! I literally feel like I am walking around a movie set, it still doesn't seem real, pictures don't do it justice ( but they didn't in Hawaii either :)
I am serving in a cute little city in the middle of the mission, Lodi, Italy. We are riding bikes- which sounded fun until day 3 and now I'm over it haha but it is good exercise! I have the sweetest trainer, Sorella Demeure, she is from France, and a big blessing w the Italian. I am definitely still adjusting to everything. All of this, on top of leaving Hawaii, has been one of the hardest things I've ever done, but I'm trusting in the Lord's timing & plan! My reassignment was such a blessing in my life that I didn't fully realize until I left it! Hawaii will always be so special to me, but ready for whatever the next 7 bring! I know that God knows best!
