Aloha !
It was a week! We met the sweetest lady this week named Adriana! We went over Sunday and had dinner, & she speaks ENGLISH! People who speak English are few and far between, so it felt like a hand-delivered miracle. Italian is coming along but there is a difference in teaching in your mother language We are going back on Sunday and I'm pumped!
Last p-day we spent the day in Milano! We went shopping, had some pizza, and then visited this old church about 5 minutes from the duomo, it is called Santuario di San Bernardino alle ossa (ossa means bones, and there were lots of them) You walk back into this little room just lined with skulls, it was honestly a pretty heavy feeling but I also couldn't wrap my head around them being real people, CRAZY!!
We get transfer news this week and it will be interesting! Pretty sure I'll be staying in Lodi, but I think Demure is leaving and that scares me, she is my trainer pt.2 here in Italy, it is the language that makes me nervous. But it will be a good opportunity to stretch. Maybe I'll surprise myself with knowing more than I think I do... maybe. Either way, I know God is in it with me every step of the way and that He always provides! I promise you can trust Him too, He provides peace in a way nothing else can
