EMAILS FROM OPAH

The pictures bring back many memories.  Narrow cable stone streets with amazing stone work and the ceilings of the church buildings (priceless in quality and workmanship).  My wife says it best.  the pictures don't do it justice!!. Plus the outdoor dining in the cafes.  Although it does start to rain in the fall & winter.  The up side is it does clean the air.  I loved the people as you have discovered.  The people are  real not fake.

You know after all your missionary experiences you could be a tourist guide?.

Thanks for the challenge to read 3 Nephi.

Thanks for the update on your missionary activities.  FYI we are doing to Idaho for thanks giving for a week.  We may invest in some rentals there.

Opah Lorenzo Glavinic.

KUUIPO

Sister Miller! It's so awesome to get your emails! But, I have some good news! Kuuipo is getting baptized on November 6th! She wanted me to let you know how much of an impact you made on her life and how much she misses you. She also wanted to get added to your email list so she can get your weekly emails. I'll have her send an email to you herself as well so you guys can get in contact!

But I've been enjoying your weekly emails, Italy looks so fun! I wish you all the best in your adventures and I look forward to your next weekly update!

Aloha, Elder Vickers

kuuipo:

Yes, of course please add my email

to your list of emails. Where are you now. I’ve been trying to connect with Juliette Hart. I know she completed her mission but it would be nice to communicate with. Did you complete your Italy mission?

It’s so wonderful to hear from you & that you got to see the Zoom of my baptismal. Let’s keep in touch. Please take care & stay safe Have a Blessed Evening. 🙏🏻✝️😇

SISTER EVANS (office couple in Honolulu)

Oh I’m so glad to hear from you! Your pictures are beautiful, the buildings and scenery, but you are the most beautiful part of the pictures! You look like you fit right in! It’s amazing to think you are there! We got a new missionary, Elder Wilkinson, who’s claim to fame is that he came from your hometown. Every time he comes in the office I think of you and miss you so much! Sister Lamprey went to the big island today on transfer day, and she was so excited. We got 40 new missionaries yesterday, talk about crazy. We’ll take you back anytime, but I know you are where Heavenly Father wants you to be!

What amazing adventures you will have to tell your children!

Keep up the good work! We love you!💕

Sister Evans(Elder Evans says hi too)💕

I showed your cute pictures around the office! Everyone loved them! (especially the gelato! All but Elder Kitashima  who told me to tell you “ I hate you!” #meatpatty

He said you would understand? 💕

MEMBER in Honwest

Sister Miller

I really appreciate that you are willing to share!

The "but if not" seems to be my life pattern and as I have begun my journey as a member I didn't have the luxury to learn in little steps my first five years getting baptized, they've been gigantic steps and quick flurries because I had to face  an unexpected hurdle. I am not a stranger to trials but when I had to face the unexpected Church became "nothing like I thought it would be, but everything that it needs to be"  it reminded me as well to consider on the blessed and happy state of those who follow the commandments of God. This dismissed detail has helped me:

I may not have all that I want, but I have everything that I need because I am blessed in all things both temporal and spiritual.

the opportunity to hear about your faith will be a continual reminder for me. I love your sweet spirit!!    Sister Morimoto
