It's hard for Emma when people ask her where she served-- because she can hardly get Hawaii and Italy out before someone cuts her off saying, "oh that's not a mission, that's a vacation" or what a crazy dual mission, you must've won the mission lottery." They are both dreamy places, but being a missionary there wasn't easy or relaxing. Emma gave her whole heart (tears and all her effort) to these places, the people and the Lord- the growing of her testimony that happened over 18 months was earned. It was a beautiful and often heart wrenching sacrifice. It was a complete and humble offering to the Lord. It was a period of time in two amazing places where she came to know her Savior.
